Call for Abstracts
Abstract Guidelines & Award Categories
Last date for submission: 31 Dec 2026
- Participants must be otolaryngologists under 40 years of age presenting original, previously unpublished work in Laryngology.
- Candidates must be life members of APSI or furnish proof of having applied for the same at time of submission.
- Accepted candidates must submit the full text of their article before the conference on the IJOPL journal website, subject to peer review.
- Best 8 abstracts will be selected; those not selected may be accepted for Free Paper or Poster sessions.
- Conference registration is mandatory.
- Otolaryngologists to present original work in Laryngology.
- Must be an APSI member at the time of abstract submission, or have at least applied for membership.
- Best 10 abstracts will be selected based on submissions.
- Conference registration is mandatory.
- Open to practicing speech language pathologists; not intended for BASLP students.
- The topic should be related to Laryngology.
- Conference registration is mandatory.
- ENT postgraduate students (DLO, MS, DNB) presenting on topics related to Laryngology only.
- Must produce a certificate from the Head of Department.
- Conference registration is mandatory.
- Open to otolaryngologists and SLPs to present original work in Laryngology.
- Conference registration is mandatory.
General Submission Guidelines
- Structure the abstract under: Title, Background/Objective, Methodology, Results, Conclusion.
- The title must be short, concise, and informative; avoid abbreviations in the title.
- List your full name and co-authors' full names with official addresses. The presenting author must be listed first and must ensure all co-authors are aware of the submission.
- Abstracts must present unpublished data and are limited to 250 words.
- Do not include references in the abstract.
- Spell out acronyms in full on first use, followed by the abbreviation in parenthesis.
- Always follow SI units.
- Notification of acceptance (as paper or poster) will be sent to the presenter by email.
